The Air Trainer is yet another one of Nike’s legendary models designed by Tinker Hatfield and worn by one of the best American tennis players ever, John Mc Enroe. Their unique and innovative design perfectly matched the left-handed player’s personality and unparalleled skills. The Velcro strap which was deemed over the top for a pair destined for tennis at the time quickly won people over by the added comfort it brought as well as its design. This multi-sport shoe was also worn by Bo “Bo Knows” Jackson!
